PK4PM + People Matter Fest
PK4PM aims to shape the future of underserved communities. The 501(c)(3) uses hip hop music to engage, bridge gaps and fight gun violence. The year- long initiative includes programs like People Matter Fest, a free annual concert Celebrated Father’s Day weekend in the heart of Liberty City. The festival backed by Mayor Gimenez and Commissioner Monestime is a compound of festivities including a 24-hour county-wide moratorium gun violence, a Kid Village, resource village, Father Son 3 on 3 basketball tournament hosted by Udonis Haslem, live art and more.
Exclaim aids PK4PM in coordinating monthly pop up events that engage some of Dade County’s neglected parks and neighborhoods. People Matter Pop Ups are in partnership with iHeart Media’s 103.5 the Beat and includes free food, live performances and resources for the community. Exclaim runs the nonprofits social media account and manages sponsor and vendor relations. Exclaim is also responsible for booking local talent for pop ups and annual People Matter Festival.
